The D425K is one of the quietest compressors in its class because Rotair designers engineer in the sound attenuation, as opposed to simply gluing it on. The D425J is also available in skid mount, and can be finished with a special electrostatic paint process to provide more corrosion resistance for offshore applications such as marine agriculture and energy production. Some of its features include “Intelligent System” which prevents loaded shutdown and virtually eliminates troublesome “blowback” and a “Minimum Pressure Valve” that prevents abrasive solids from being “back-fed” into the compressor following sandblasting. The D425J’s design engineers were sticklers for detail. Built on a platform that includes a JCB 444 TCAE Turbocharged and Intercooled Diesel Engine coupled to a rugged Rotair Direct Drive Air End, the D425K can handle a variety of jobs and is a favorite of painting contractors, abrasive-blasters and other high-demand users. Rotair’s D425J is a powerful, yet versatile, portable compressor that packs a lot of punch for its size and weight.
